I started watching “Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War” tonight, the second episode is very interesting, it is very clear from watching McCarthyism, and some of the wording used, that the GOP hasn’t really moved on from the 50s in terms of the way it seeks to scare over cultural differences.

While I was getting the water, I bought a small rice cooker. They had these 15 ounce cans of sardines in hot sauce for 50 cents a can. Cheaper than cat food. And not really very hot. Back when I was married wife used to love sardines over rice.
