Today I had the embarrassing experience of being $9.95 short for my groceries. The very young girl, maybe 19 or 20, serving on the checkout smiled and swiped her personal phone paying the balance. It was such an unexpected act of kindness and I am so incredibly grateful to her.

'I had the strange experience of thinking "that’s a good idea" when Peter Dutton spoke of allowing the unemployed to earn more before they lost any payment.
The strangeness quickly disappeared when he explained that this was INSTEAD of the $40 increase.
