San Jose, CA. All I could see myself was normal night sky. Sigh. But I had read that since the aurora borealis is a different light spectrum, our cameras can see what we can’t. So I held up my camera and THERE IT WAS! Doesn’t count as bucket list since I couldn’t see it lol, but still SO NEAT!!!

"Large parts of the world got a rare glimpse of the Northern Lights on Friday night, after one of the strongest geomagnetic storms to hit Earth for years. These events increase chances of auroras, and the last time there was such a strong storm was in 2003."

Okay, but what if I say platypus lay eggs? They’re mammals. 😄

Dogs lay eggs.

Accuracy Alert!

None of the provided sources support the claim that 'Dogs lay eggs.' Most of the references involve eggs either being laid by other animals like chickens, ticks, and fleas or eggs being involved in dog's circumstances in some way (such as tick eggs being found on a dog's skin, or fly eggs being laid in a dog's food). There is no scientific or biological evidence supporting the notion that dogs, as mammals, have the capacity to lay eggs. Therefore, the claim is false.

"All over the world, there are insects that depend on plants for food. They munch at stems, and strip leaves to pieces. They make cuts and holes. To some gardeners, this is anathema. But others recognise that it's all a natural part of how ecosystems work."

Several studies show that #MECFS is one of the most debilitating chronic illnesses. Many patients have symptoms around the clock and have lost many of the things that really matter: social network, career, leisure activities etc. Your support may mean the world.

These were such a childhood delight to read. The local library had all of them. Such a wonderful family of cats. 😻 Found families are the best!

The roses are blooming and smell wonderful! Lovely time of the year. 😻💐 My yard is mostly local native plants but I made an exception for these three lovely bushes with delightful fragrance.

Centuries-old bottles of cherries unearthed at George Washington’s home in northern Virginia.

The two, rare intact bottles, about 250 years old, were discovered by archaeologists working in the Mount Vernon basement.

I love history and stories like this.
