Maybe I’m not a good person, a forgiving person, but when I think that Hedwig was allowed to die peacefully in her sleep in a suburb of Washington D.C., it makes me SICK!

In response to Julia@myollieBarradise1.
Nobody ever is going to admit that Scotland has been fighting against all odds for ages, and still managed to be a decent, prospering NATION. Least of all the blabber mouths that are paid to keep the status quo that benefits only Westminster leeches and the money that holds the unionist chains.
Julia@myollieBarradise1 @Julsey
How is this a set back for independence because he's leaving and because that idiot Douglas Ross said that nationalist should forget about being independence...you have no idea about Scotland and their determination to be independent if we can....or can we make it work but its for Scotland to decide

Another “quality escape” from Boeing.

United Airlines plane, a Boeing 777, loses a tire during take-off from San Francisco crashing cars on the ground. The plane was headed to Japan with 249 onboard, and had to land at LAX.

Immune evasion by JN.1 variant : study findings show that the protection of natural infection against reinfection with JN.1 wanes rapidly and is entirely lost one year after the previous infection.

It is! All Greater Boston college campuses going through this wave of constant illness. If I see a student wearing a surgical mask, I’m assuming they’re sick. Faculty isn’t faring well, either.
Paul Chenoweth @bruingeek
Last line in the article: "...more susceptible to these viruses and bacteria just from a general lack of sleep and lack of taking care of myself that comes with the onset of the semester.” We're seeing the same scenario played out on our campus. I suspect it is a widespread higher-ed pattern.

We’re in extremely high sustained transmission amid a post-peak hill. In the U.S. and U.K., about 2.0-2.8% of the population is actively infectious. In Canada (and the Northeastern U.S.), it's more like 4.0-5.3% infectious. #CovidIsNotOver
