Help should always be available for those who are truly seeking.

Every time you identify and tell an abusive seeker "no", only for them to attack you for it, they prove how unsafe they were.

Additionally, every known abuser you remove makes it safer for the new seeker.

Additionally, those same people tearing the house down for attention, never actually try to reach out and work things out, they just want to fight. A am almost powerless against a heartfelt apology, because it isnt our mistakes, but what we do after them that defines our character.

Since getting slapped, at every turn this person who has made their living off of acting (and it seems to 100% be an act) like a semi-sleazy buffoon, has proven that at their core they are a person of character.

And Funny AF.

Everyone who says "You cant be funny without being mean" is wrong. There is a difference between "mean" and "pointed". The only people Chris Rock punched at were people in places of power. The Royals and The Smiths, and he didnt talk about The Smiths until the very end. #ChefKiss

As a seasoned bread maker, that is the worst! The only way to make sure it doesnt happen is to not proof in the oven! I had to just get used to little longer on the stovetop.

I was raised in the suburbs in a college town, but that is a direct result of said residential schooling. I dont claim to be Native most times, but when someone is just being rude, I do.

As a "French Half-Breed" (seen on a USA Park Sign) I'm used to it, though

Respectfully, I am Métis with my Native side being Abenaki. My grandfather was put through residential schooling. I was raised as a white boy in the suburbs, so I make no hard claims, and I have had extensive talks with Elders both at home and Parliament of World Religions on the matter of sage. 💜

I would also invite you to find me anything written by a Native that is telling people not to buy smudge sticks from Native vendors.

I know your heart is in the right place, but this is a convoluted issue that has a lot of economic repercussions for the Native vendors involved.

I grow my own sage, and I burn it. I have never had a single person tell me I am inappropriate for growing my sage and then burning it, including my friends in the Snohomish Tribe here in the PNW

I would invite you to find me anything that tells people to stop growing their own herbs and using them

Christians took Yule, renamed it, changed the sacred rites to fit their gods and then called the original followers devil worshipers for worshiping the original holiday.

Do you see how that is way bigger than just stealing something?

Definitions matter. Language matters.

FURTHERMORE (rant activate) "Cultural Appropriation" has a VERY SPECIFIC SET OF CRITERIA. It isnt just theft , which is bad enough. Damage must be present. You must take from a culture, and then use that which you took to harm the culture you took it from.

Like Taking Yule. I'll explain.

And let me just further express: When white people tell white people not to use items from other ethnicities, they are participating in removing THE LARGEST PURCHASING DEMOGRAPHIC IN THE UNITED STATES FROM SUPPORTING MINORITY BUSINESS.

It's Economic Racism. Support Minority Craft. Buy it and use

Life is short, so you have to tell people you love them.

But as it is said in the old adage, it is also terrifying, so you should scream your love erratically and wave your hands around.

Often times I walk into my child's (adult and lives at home) room and they are on their headphones playing a game with friends, and I will say

"OH MY GOD! ARE YOU LIVE RIGHT NOW?! DO YOUR FRIENDS KNOW YOU DO THAT WHILE YOURE TALKING TO THEM?!"

I have a Bachelors in Ministry (non-Christian) and would be all about teaching religious history from a non-Abrahamic bent, and I could read Animal Farm and The Giver and give assignments for the kids. And they could turn them in the comments section. The Comments would be The Class.

We would just make a youtube channel, give the right people access to edit it, and then you just record and upload. I live in the mountains, so it takes me 5-6 hours to upload a 15 minute video to Youtube, BUT if we had a group of teachers who wanted to make a difference... *shrug*

For those that dont know, Montana is about to pass a law that makes it illegal to teach any science that "isnt established fact" which leaves a LOT OF SCIENCE OUT, and destroys the futures of children educated in Montana.
