The first nice place there were a few places on Clinton Street like WD-40 & couple of others it was a hot strip of boutique restaurants & then the grand dame, The Liquor Bar, a Terrence McNally of Balthazar & Odeon fame space, opened on the corner of my block it's about to reopen as a Shake Shack.!

Well, as I have a rent stabilized one-bedroom unit for just under $600/mo I will be staying put here to the bitter end..lol.. Actually, for the first 16yrs I had my place & the one next door too opened it up into one big unit but when the original owner passed I was forced to relinquish one..

Actually, that's the same reason for me too but I thought it might come across a morbid.. I was unable to even look at another furbaby for more then 12yrs after my last one passed it was more upsetting then I could have ever imagined & I was convinced I could never deal with that again, not alone..

I concur. I am actually thinking of adopting another b/c I've no actual idea of her age, they said she was 7 when I got her over 7yrs ago, which would make her around 14 now & altho I don't think she's that old, too spry, complete set of teeth no grey on her snout etc. she needs company too..

So funny.. Well my child here is as I said all of 15lbs or so & about 2ft long but yet she still manages to literally occupy 85+% of a queen sized bed every night.. How I could not tell you it defies physics but I swear I've actually tried rolling over & fell onto the floor more then once, so..?

I live alone in a small one bedroom apartment in lower Manhattan where I've for 30+yrs now.. It's a very trendy, youth oriented area that's transformed from a dangerous drug infested, crime ridden area into an eclectic space with all sorts of interesting little galleries & restaurants etc ..
