Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. And too many Dems have underestimated local and rural political power for far too long. Laissez-faire and ad hominem attitudes won't be enough to fix this long term, but all Blue voters together can keep MAGA from enduring as a legitimate party.

All good, I appreciate the interest and engagement. And this is a difficult task considering local races and how they're reported (FL doesn't seem to report them at a State-.gov-level, for example). So the quality control is always needed from local voters.

The inclusion is appreciated - and I'm way overdue with followbacks. Focusing free time on an 8-item list of HQ updates right now. Will get on it soon!

You're appreciated for spotlighting that election toxicity. It's offensive on a whole other level as a 1st Gen citizen (paternally).

Here's a thread of some the best quotes from the virtual town hall. Looking forward to many more of these!

Agreed, and it's less the fear and more the response that we're continually rallying against.

Love it. The 2022 Midterms are regarded by some as the biggest overall win for Dems in many years - with Biden-Harris campaigning hard against GOP extremism - which maybe helps to explain some of the exaggerated campaigns against Biden and the need for Dems to keep hitting the accelerator to GOTV.

This isn't setting the tempo for November, but it's definitely reassuring to see an ousted, shamed, disgraced Representative's party not leading to fill the empty seat.

What does she believe are the best actions that new organizers can take to have a tangible impact on Voters and Candidates in this cycle?

Too ambitious of a timeline, will take a few days and do this right. Updates soon, a fresh Elections This Week, and much more on the way (including the HQ's first call to action for a multi-part project). Vote Blue.

This was delayed for a longtime due to me ( @Kedro ) changing industries and focusing on work and prioritizing HQ projects that could more directly help voters vs this passion project of a podcast.

And here's a list of #BidenHarris achievements that needs some updating (30+ posted so far). This is more talking points / cataloguing than news, but speaks to #BidenHarris and how much has been accomplished by this admin.

Yes, keep going!
Now the HQ needs to be (more?) interesting/legitimized to better qualify for those recommendation features.
Spoutible should see monster growth, even when only factoring in how great the app experience is + the oncoming surge of political interest in 2024 Nov elections.

Up to 6 potentially - being the initial outlook for NY's new maps.
Alabama's 2nd district opened up to lean Blue, and with Wisconsin making a redistricting decision soon that could favor Dems - well that's a few of the many reasons to sense optimism heading into 2024.
