Some days I sit in the car in the garage and enjoy the silence.

My husband and child seem to get annoyed on those days but I'm much more relaxed.

I also do this at work on days that are too many voices wanting something. It's how I reset.

What do you do?

So the rule of law is under fire in this country. It's either being abused, ignored, or applied unequally. Without a solid basis of law and application, everyone is at risk in my opinion.

How does a democratic system survive?

I've been away for a bit more than usual because I'm helping my widowed mother move into a 55+ community. It's exhausting. She's worse than my 5 year old about giving stuff up.

I'm at my patience end and there's a crap more to do.

I also want to get rid of half my stuff.

Help! Advice. Genie...

I love all the little additions like the whale tail flip, etc. and I'm excited for the coming app.

But ultimately what I love about Spoutible is the balance of positive and real which keeps the negativity in check.

You're a great group!

I'm currently reading "What's Our Problem" by Tim Urban. It's a fascinating look at the human nature division in the US and a cautionary tale for those trying to do good.

Good read, funny pictures, and @cbouzy I think you would find it interesting as you evolve this platform.

I'm reading "What's Our Problem" by Tim Urban. I've learned a lot in just the first half of the book. Most interesting is the journey the word "woke" has been on. It's pivoted from its original meaning & intent in much the same way as the word "patriot" has in recent years.

Beware the golems!

Narrative.

Today the idea that a narrative is a selfish argument for a point of view has captured my thoughts. I've always seen it as an explanation for context but now I'm rethinking things.

I may not agree but if the world sees narrative in that light, I have to change how I communicate.

I'm in the ER (leg issue) and they asked me 4 times if I might be pregnant before they did the xray / ultrasound.

The woman next to me (with her teenage daughter) was asked the same, but they must believe her less because she has to take a test before they will do her MRI.

Seriously?

Forgive the mess - this is what I came home to today. After a frustrating day at work, I had forgotten about this "holiday" but it was nice to see what my husband & child picked out.

Happy little painte, flowers, candy... but the hugs & kisses were the best!

I hope you found joy today as wel

What can employers do to be competitive and take care of employees and as digital tools integrate into the workplace, does the idea of work to survive go away?

Hey Pod, need your creative thoughts.

We have an executive (think chief middle manager) who is stuck between our brilliant, innovative, & demanding boss & an exhausted workforce. They've been in firefighter mode so long, they can't seem to shake it even with a team to help.

How can we help h

This little blue orb spinning in space is made better for the life we build on it. Taking care of one another is vital - even virtually.

Just spent time reading account descriptions and choosing new choices to hear and humans to support.

Kind of like finding friends on the playground. ❤️ it!

It's amazing how many certain of ourselves we go through over time. When I think of the toxic environs I used to tolerate just to be "liked" and compare to where I am now as a human, I wonder how traumatized younger me was... or is.

I'm glad to be a stronger version of myself with clear boundari
