Utilities costs are at an all time high in Alberta. So what does the gov do?

Put a freeze in renewable energy expansion!

We're also (if I'm not mistaken) the only province that doesn't offer an EV credit, or credits to add renewable options at the individual home level.

#Aquascaping + #fish update. FINALLY some fish! 6x Harlequin Rasbora's, 6x Cochus Blue Tetras, and 2x Otocats. Likely it for now. Still want a "Center Piece" fish but will see how the aquarium handles this lot first. Will definitely add more live plants though. I LOVE the look of real plants!

Xbox + Activision/Blizzard/King is pretty much a done deal!

I was always in favor of this deal as a gamer with an Xbox bias.

But I really hope Xbox management can finally step up and get high quality results at a steady cadence from all the studios they now have in house!

Started my first foray into #Aquascaping and fishkeeping. This is step one. Will add more live plants very soon, and not long after that some beautiful #fish !

A square fish tank filled with clear water. There is a large peach and white marbled stone middle left, and a small bowed dark piece of dead wood which creates a small arch, almost a cave. They are both sitting on a multicolored bed of natural pebbles, which also has a few small puffs of grass growing in patches.

The #xbox Showcase was solid, B+ mmmmaybe an A-, but with almost every title slated for 2024 I can't help but feel like Xbox first party hasn't rolled out much of anything for 2 (almost 3) years, and that's borderline unacceptable going on their 3rd year with the new consoles.

So, this is probably my favorite shot from our visit to #Toronto (and surrounding area). This panorama of Niagara Falls from the "Journey Behind the Falls" observation deck turned out better than I could have imagined. This was a really great day.

A panoramic image of Niagara Falls from the foot of the falls. In the scene you can see the old Hydro plant to the extreme left, and the Horn Blower River Boat is dead center in the basin of the Falls.
