I only friend people I know on FB and Insta, and they're locked down. So, when DH came home from work yesterday and told me someone had sent a screenshot of me talking about reading queer fiction to the principal and both priests trying to get us fired, the sense of betrayal I feel is beyond words.

I'm going back to work in August after 10 years of being a stay at home mom. While I'm excited about moving to this next stage, I'm also mourning the loss of all my free time. I'm going to miss my leisurely mornings the most I think.

Watched Life of Brian for Family Movie Night, and 9 yo's verdict, "that movie was weird." 😂😂

In 2022, my NY Res was to write a second book. In Feb, they diagnosed my nephew with Tay-Sachs, and I didn't write again until NaNo in Nov. Now, I've turned in my second book to my agent, and I have outlined a 4 book series. It feels good to want to write again. #WritingCommunity

Yesterday my great-aunt and I drive 3 hours to Kansas City to attend a seminar put on by the Ulster Foundation, and let me tell you, it was 100% worth the drive. I think I can actually get through my brick walls now. If they are coming near you and you are researching Irish ancestry - go!
