Installed my 1st Matter-capable device yesterday. A Kasa smart plug (KP125M). It may be the most responsive smart device I have now because Google Home and Kasa each control it directly instead of through a link.
GH has basic Matter control (on/off) but Kasa app can do energy monitoring! Neato!
