There’s an affordability crisis in the US & it’s not just inflation. It’s the cost of daycare, elder care, housing, healthcare, & higher education. Corporate America wants to pay employees as little as possible and keep consumers in debt. It’s not sustainable.

Not my usual content but I heard an analogy that broke something inside of me, hurt me to my core.

We were discussing the extraordinarily high Black Maternal mortality rate in the US and a White colleague who I consider an ally said:

“doctors are to Black women what police are to Black men.”
