That's it! My friend and I were trying to figure out what changed in Sesame Street from our generation (Gen X) and today's kids. It's Muppets. When we were kids they had representation via human children (Black, white, "red", "yellow" , brown) and now they use Muppets to promote representation.

It's astonishing how new platforms address online abuse as if there isn't a 25 year history to learn from. I'm old enough to remember hate, obscenity & abuse taking place on AOL, Yahoo, etc in late 90s/early 00s. Why does every* social media founder act like "gosh we couldn't have predicted abuse?"

Respectfully, blaming Merrick Garland for Trump's behavior is not productive. Remember Garland passed this off to Jack Smith who has been hitting the ground running. Also, we MUST make sure this is done by the book. We don't want Trump off on technicalities, and we want it to survive appeals.
