It’s been brought to my attention that spoutie @LiberalDoc is going through some medical stuff and is in the hospital. It’s not been his best week and could use some cheering up be it well wishes, cards,, jokes, songs… If you can give some Spoutible support… I am sure it would be appreciated!

speaking of changing your spoutible password, I was able to update the ios app and change my password without problem. But it doesn't seem like the password reset expired existing old sessions? i.e. my other laptop that's been logged in for months wasn't forced to login with the new password

But I'm disallowed from using the password I selected and the reason makes no sense, bc all the prerequisites were met, & I couldn't use a very secure password until I *REDUCED IT'S STRENGTH* by making it SHORTER. 🤨07:58 AM - Feb 15, 2024![Here is the password test for the password I wanted to use. We are confident the person who contacted Troy scraped the data. After detailed analysis of the logs, and Troy's timeline, we believe the data was scraped to hurt Spoutible's reputation. We are also confident the person involved is the ringleader who has been attacking Spoutible for a year.

Yeah no, the Troy Hunt article about the Spoutible data leak was not “melodramatic”. The only reason why 200,000 accounts didn’t get taken over is because the person who scraped all the data wasn’t — as far as we can tell — interested in doing so.
