Amazing how these things always seem to be interconnected and accidental discoveries are made.

Jack quite often seems to jump to Musk's defense (including during this current mess) and BlueSky has been progressing at a snail's pace. Some are questioning his actions.

Stopping people not logged in from browsing was his first attempt to reduce the strain on the servers. He was actively watching the number of seconds users were active and posting about it the other day. If only he thought about not firing qualified people and paying the bills for the servers.

It won't even allow me to save the tweet as a draft. Interesting.

Twitter is so toxic, but that is what makes it addictive, which is bad. I have to keep off of it more too since it's never a positive experience.

It's an uphill battle and will take a while, but Musk's behavior and Twitter's changes help a lot for Spoutible. I recently tried BlueSky Social as well, but Spoutible is much nicer and far more functional.

I found your post about Spoutible thanks to Twitter's blue check drama. It would be awesome for anyone who was forced to take the Twitter taint to use the reach to promote Spoutible. 😁 Might as well make the most of Musk's "gift".

LMAO. Just looked on Twitter and apparently there are now a LOT of celebrities been given the Blue taint without permission including accounts of the deceased.

Did Musk give his account the check after he left? Seems like after he announced he's leaving for Spoutible his account was given the mark of shame.

I didn't realize Jeri Ryan was here. I loved the Picard finale and it seemed to setup a potential new series centered around Seven.

It's blatantly obvious why the lawsuit was dropped despite what they claim. I'm looking forward to Smartmatic's lawsuit against Fox next. It sounds like they are more interested in exposing them than Dominion were. I hope so anyway.

It's not being paid by anyone, it's just being labelled as a Blue subscription so King can be falsely used as a celebrity endorsement.

Given how against Twitter Blue King is this could also be considered defamation by Musk altering his account to make it seem like he supports the subscription. The guy is such a dipshit.

He and several other big celebrities have been forced onto the Blue service for "free" without permission by Musk who will use them as celebrity endorsements. This is likely illegal. I'm curious to see where it goes.

They need to stop merely not Tweeting and completely delete their accounts on Twitter. It's like an abusive relationship where Musk will slap them around, but they stay.

I dunno. MAGA says it's false so the media needs to report both sides and probably conclude it's "unverified" at best, otherwise it's fake news bias.

Funny thing is he complains about his reach not being good on Spoutible (despite barely any engagement), but his Twitter feed has almost exactly the same amount of likes as here. That's probably Bouzy's fault too, somehow.

I think it did, but his memes are pretty bad to be fair. He had me blocked, but then unblocked me 10 minutes later before the insults started flowing. It was pretty funny though, but had to mute him since my notifications were getting filled with his tantrum.
