- That means you must not believe the Bible to be authorizations
- Therefore, you don't believe in the essential doctrine of Sola Scriptura.

Sola Scriptura is an essential doctrine. It basically says the bible is God's word, it's authoritative, and nothing else has authority that matches the Bible's authority.

Females serving in pastoral roles is a non-essential doctrine. Aka you can affirm female pastors and still be a Christian...

This is good.
What I have observed is a trend where, not just Southern Baptists but conservative/fundamentalist Christians daisy-chain non-essential doctrines onto essential doctrines to make the non essentials, essentials. Here's what I mean:
