My wonderful dad, who died last year, made this speech when he was just 35 years old. Then he signed the original license for WETA, Washington's first PBS station, and then he flew to Chicago to come to my Brownier father-daughter dinner.

Everyone I research has been dead for 50 to 70 years at least. Nothing recent.
Today, it is George Ashmead, buried outside my hometown of Stony Plain, Alberta.
