I was straight fuming but I kept my head. I conferred with DS after because he talked to her separately, then both of us together. We made the decision that from now on we are going to communicate with him directly by email so there's a paper trail because we now know he's an untrustworthy bitch.

At home, mom would invite a handful of seniors who didn't have children, couldn't be with them, or lost them. I would waitress around, serving iced tea and appetizers as the ladies were able to relax, confab, and be catered to for just a day. It gave my mom a lot of joy to give of herself to others.

I wasn't sure if I would post at all, but I'll be brief. This is my 4th Mother's Day without my mom, my 7th without my grandmother. This was a day we did up in my family. After church it was either straight to Red Lobster or to a big dinner Mom made at home to celebrate.

Having a brand new steamer is like the best thing ever. It works so well and took 97% of the wrinkles out of my shirt in less than 10 minutes. I love my shirts from Woman Within but they wrinkle so easily.

My LL Bean dresses came today, I tried them on. For the first time in my life, as I looked in the mirror, I thought "do I look fat in this?" my brain said of course you look fat in this, you are fat! But so what? The dresses are cute, I'm cute, let's work it.

My therapist was so proud of me for standing up for myself and establishing a boundary for what is and isn't acceptable behavior in my direction from upper management. I said I'm 46 and I'm tired of men acting like ass and we just accept it. I refuse to accept it anymore.
