Climeworks. Based in Switzerland (I think), Climeworks is a carbon capture company. You pay a monthly subscription fee to capture a certain amount of carbon every month. It's not cheap. For those who can afford it, do it.

Arcadia Power. They integrate with your electric bill and replace all your energy with renewables. For those who can't afford (or aren't allowed) to install a solar panel on the roof, this is the next best thing. They also help you participate in community solar projects.

Same! Couldn't stand it until I was in my mid-30s. Now I drink it black. No regrets.

How is ANYONE against replacing Lead water pipes? And how would they feel if they were the ones drinking from them? I don't understand humans.

I'm jealous. I did that hike on a cold wet foggy day. Wasn't quite the same. :)

There's a soft spot in my heart for warm climate folks whose lives lead them to cold places in winter. They're like naïve little children. So cute and endearing and unprepared. :)

Oof. I can imagine. At least here I can look out the window and confirm there are no imminent tornados.

Any good books you'd recommend on the subject? Not just climate change, but specifically its impact on Africa. Thanks! (And sorry if this appears twice. Spoutible hiccupped when I clicked send.)

So far so good, but it's early. I like the premise. Not "what is the metaverse" but "why is the metaverse". Why might it be beneficial? How does it fit into human history and the innate need for worldbuilding and mythmaking. We'll see where it goes. I'm intrigued.

Given the timeframe involved, my expectations have been surpassed. I've noticed some capacity-induced slowness, maybe, but that's fixable, and everything seems to work and look great. Super impressed.

I haven't seen a setting for font size. If there isn't one, another possible option would be to increase your browser's zoom level.
