True. The two party system is good at crushing people outside the party mainstream. Making third parties almost impossible unless ranked voting takes hold.
But Ds did not try to overthrow an election & they are not trying to end US representative govt, such as it is. So there is a difference.

I used to study things like this.
Chlorinated and fluorinated compounds are stable & chemically very inert. Useful.
HOWEVER, they can sometimes interfere with chemical signaling in the body like hormones.
Unless water soluble, they can build up in our bodies because they can’t be metabolized.

At least in the US, the violent instructions in the Christian Bible have, by now, been suppressed by secular society & moderate Christians. So slavery is now bad (except in Florida). People aren’t stoned to death.

The analyses were likely adjusted for crucial confounders like that.
However, my guess is that meat per se SHOULD be ok, but when factory farm animals are fed rendered animals, lipophilic (oily) chemicals get biomagnified in the meat— which would make a veggie diet less contaminated.
