If you see this image floating around connected to the folding chair, it isn't true. That's Lewis Latimer, who was critical in the development of the telephone, significantly improved the production of carbon filament, & was crucial in the commercialization of the incandescent light bulb.

Spoutible isn't the new, exciting flash in the pan type of place, like it seems a few other places have become. Its a nice slow roasted pot roast, taking its time to get everything just right, where the payoff is going to be wonderful.

This will be the 5th Mother's Day without my mom here & the 1st one that also falls on my birthday. The pain always makes its presence known on days like today.

On this special day if ya can, hug your moms a little extra tight for me. You never know when it might be the last time you get to do it.

Just submitted my Application for Graduation and I'm not gonna lie--it kinda hurt a bit. I've been a student working toward this for so long, overcoming so many obstacles to get here, it just feels like a part of me now. I guess it's time to put this behind me & look toward grad school now.

And with that final submission, I am officially finished with my undergraduate journey. Being an older student has been challenging at times, but it's been a blast.

This will be the last night I go to bed as an undergrad student. Tomorrow is my final day & once I submit my assignments, I will be finished with what turned out to be an 8 year journey. Grateful to have finally made it but sad this part is over. It's been a struggle at times, but I made it!

Thankfully, our long national nightmare is over. The noted anti-vaxxer, anti-science QB has been traded to the team owned by the heir to the Johnson & Johnson fortune. All is right in the world of sports. Whew.
