My Hot Take: White males can have 30 folks on their team, five being women (white) and one being Black and think they have achieved peak diversity. Thus the problem. Until they are replaced in the sole decision making, this will continue being an issue.

True story: Yesterday, I hired a Black female DevOps consultant to fix a rare bug with our database cluster and our unique setup. It took her only 30 minutes to identify the root cause of the bug. You can thank her for Spoutible not going down yesterday afternoon under heavy load.
