I like that idea. My 99 y/o mother lives with me, and I’m 71 myself. Fortunately, she’s in good shape for her age, and also my sibling and his wife don’t criticize what we do at my house, at least not where I can hear it.

It was her brother and his wife. My mom was stunned. Still is. I related to Harry Potter who got a gum wrapper from his muggle family for Christmas.

It’s been 60 years and I still remember it. My 99 y/o mother is still a little pissed about it.

My most memorable Christmas gift was the year I was 11. My aunt and uncle gave me a coat hangar. It was a very nice coat hangar—heavy duty and painted gold. Still…

My late husband used to cook kidneys. They smelled like what kidneys contain. And hot. Hot pee. He said they tasted good. No thanks.

He always hated Obama, but when Obama made fun of him to his face in public, it sent him completely over the edge.

When I toured the Supreme Court building, the docent explained the reason behind the lifetime appointment, and it made sense. It's the only way to create an environment where the Justice can truly rule the way they think is correct. You have some rogues, of course.

I disagree. The way to get them out of office is by voting for other candidates. Volunteer, donate, or campaign for the candidate you want. Don't deny other voters the chance to vote for or against the incumbent.

I agree. They should be limited to mutual funds or EFTs, no individual stocks. The opportunity for misbehavior is too tempting.

We chose Midwest City to raise our biracial child (we were an interracial couple). We figured being a military town, she would be more likely to have classmates of diverse backgrounds, and it did work out that way.

An African-American relative moved to central Oklahoma from Iowa a few years ago. She was pleasantly surprised at how diverse and accepting it is here. I won't say we never have problems with prejudice, but there are fewer here than in some other places.

Obama had to deal with an obstructionist Congress. Think of what he could have accomplished if they had worked with him instead of against him!

Yoni, can we talk bariatrics? I had a gastric sleeve about a year and a half ago. I'm down to the last ten pounds I have to lose but it's really, really hard to maintain my motivation to stay on program. Any hints?

My daughter used to prosecute child molesters. They were typically cis males who found legitimate reasons to be around children. They were never gay, nor were they drag queens. They were very seldom women.

Not so much. It really needed the raisins and walnuts all through it to give it flavor. I wound up giving it to the murder of crows I feed in my yard. They liked it.
