That is true, and still doesn't refute the reality that Democrats take governing seriously and produce often good results where Republicans despise governance and produce misery on an epic scale when they do anything at all.

The Hill runs a liberal op-ed now and then to ``balance'' the collection of liars and fascists they platform every hour of every day.

I couldn't agree more. Using a candidacy as — literally — a get out of jail free card has got to stop, too.

His condescension came through too. I thought Remnick did well not to take the bait. Kennedy is in nearly every respect a typical, nasty right-wing politician. He only diverges in giving lip service to issues like wealth inequality and skepticism about Big Parma. His anit-vax nuttery ruins that.

Someone who has been talked into believing that there no difference the two major parties and especially between these two presidents isn't worth my time. You have a lovely day, too. Hope you see this before you're blocked.

basically you just do a spout, post it, then look at the spout, click the dots and you'll see the thread option. click it and it will reappear with an `add to threaded spout' button. click that, make your next entry and send it and you'll the two pieces now with 1/2 and 2/2 on it.

I just did my first threaded spout and got the same early responses before I was through. a small annoyance for sure, but doing the thread itself was amazing. didn't realize until i was done that spoutible supplies the thread chaptering (?) for you, the `1/2, 2/2' stuff.

It's more of a musing on my part. Musk has aligned himself with a collection of noxious issues that are pushed by dark money/aspiring authoritarians. It could well be he's just another one of them, but these people feed each other so much I just wonder if there's a financial element to it.
