A friendly reminder that #megaconstellations are not only a problem for astronomers.

(And the consequences of dumping fuel in the upper atmosphere?  We don't know, but that's ok because apparently what we don't know can't kill us.)

There's a new book out, "Who owns the Moon" warning that under the current framework of space law "a space ‘wild west’ is going to emerge." As far as Low Earth Orbit is concerned, it already has. Indeed, the "gold rush" for LEO is already well underway.

This is a very very bad sign, and almost certainly due to the #ClimateEmergency , which includes an effect not often talked about: acidification of our oceans. This is what it looks like when an ocean becomes uninhabitable.
