2 Threaded Spouts

Exciting developments! I’ve had this birdhouse for years & today noticed a chickadee being very active around it. I’m thinking they are preparing to nest & I am so down for it. Love that it hangs within sight of the kitchen window & will be easy to monitor from afar.

unwashed *fresh* eggs can be left in unrefrigerated for ~21 days. They have a protective cuticle, which is what allows eggs to incubate, also 3wks from lay to hatch. I’ve not refrigerated eggs since raising chickens, over 20 years & wash right before use; knock wood, no issue yet.

A carved dog at Salisbury Cathedral cloister garden. It was a tiny & unexpected surprise given the majestic surroundings. I’ve wondered about its story. Maybe it was done by a cathedral laborer in a moment of rest. The stone it’s carved in has an iron #anchor to keep it in place #DailyPictureTheme

left to right, 1st glass piece ever 2021. I left that class angry- hardest craft I ever did & was so out of my wheelhouse- didn’t let it get the best of me, instead lit a fire within to keep on swimming. Middle is 2023 glassiversary. Right, today.

The politically charged message was a staunch comment on "snowflakes," a backlash against a generation with their hands in a campfire, trying to figure out what to do. The irony is, there is never a moment when human beings aren't feeling something. Including these folks. "Fuck Your Feelings" is a statement full of feeling. After all, bitterness is a feeling. Coldness is a feeling. Numbness is a feeling. Emotionally shut down is a feeling. Not wanting to deal with feelings is a feeling. The T-shirt wasn't a negation of the importance of feelings. It was actually saying, "Our feelings are the ones that matter." The T-shirt was all about feelings.
