His endless teams of high powered lawyers represent people who could hurt him "for free." Lots of times they aren't rich and he gets to influence them and get info. Been doing this for years.

The entire point of the checkmark is to make sure a famous person/org is exactly whom they say they are, and they're notable. Now, Twitch, Spoutible, and YouTube have it correct, and they're not just a vehicle for he whom shalt not be named to recoup money he lost.

I have to say, @cbouzy , allowing the transfer of legacy verification to Spoutible, just as it's being abandoned by Twitter, was a freaking BRILLIANT move. Seriously. Well done. We're all over here with our blue checks like
