Just had our second. Daycare for the first is more than my mortgage. Insane. Breastfeeding is also not for everyone and formula (unless you get Costcos - and they sometimes run out) is expensive as hell

Getting back into the swing of things after the birth of my 2nd kiddo.

My take on X - still a sh*tshow.

As an advertiser I can say the biggest fear is brand safety. If there’s a lot of crap on the platform your brand will be guilty by association. That’s just the way it is.

A European company met with me today to talk about scaling #googleads . They said the other interviewees wanted access to the platform.

I said I wanted access to their CRM.

And that’s the difference.

Platforms show leading indicators CRMs show where the money is actually made. #B2B #b2bmark

I performed a small analysis on a B2B company's LinkedIn ads. The interesting part? ALL their demos were view-thru conversions.

No clicks to track in analytics. They viewed the ad and later converted. This is how a lot of B2B buying is done.

Lesson, don't trust last-touch attribution

Creative analysis is maybe the hardest skill in #DigitalMarketing when you’re not running direct response ads. The key is to build the creative with the question “how can I contrast/compare these images?” If you skip this step, you’ll have no idea how to iterate and improve on ads. #demandgen
