This was my third year contributing to the book.

My primary contribution is the rookie class reviews, which you can find in each team chapter. I also voted in our unit rankings and wrote up most of those sections.

Definitely a good question. Tough early season schedule could force Belichick to make a change quickly.

getting close, but I'm still betting it happens before because the Jets need to have this resolved. They need to know if they're drafting for a rebuild, or drafting to win now.

Really just depends if CJ Stroud is on the board. If he is, there are definitely trade partners. But then the question is: how far are they willing to trade back? Bc it sounds like the most eager team might be Tennessee at 11. Ideally, they'd probably like the Raiders to get involved.

Underrated prospect. I've got him at No. 50 on my big board https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/analysis/2023-nfl-draft-big-board-ryan-mccrystal/

I think Stroud is just a better prospect. He's got a bigger arm, more accurate and is just physically bigger (so less durability concern) - so it's a fairly easy choice imo. But obviously I don't know how the interview process is going, maybe that has swung things in Young's favor.

If they want Paris Johnson, I wouldn't be comfortable trading down. PHI or TEN could take him. If they definitely want one of those 3, I wouldn't trade down further than 15, bc there's a decent chance all 3 are gone by the WSH pick at 16.
