Friendly, comical at times, but dangerous to many of the birds I feed year round. Common to have 3-4 cross the yard on a daily basis in late Spring. My cats lose their minds if one comes onto the porch & looks into the door. Haha.

We've got a 'family' that seems to breed annually in my neighborhood. Which is good as many of them have met the Cooper's Hawk.

That's cool. I've never seen their chicks. Which is weird considering how much scrub we live in the middle of. Only 1 smaller one, traveling with 2 larger ones last year. I have to assume it was one of their chicks.

I've never seen li'l chicks, but my impression is they grow pretty fast so I see what I imagine are 'adolescents,' about 1/2 to 3/4s the size of the adults.
