Do you guys remember that 4th of July when NPR tweeted the entire Declaration of Independence and Trumpers got mad?

I do remember that. Reminds me of the time my 8th grade civics class went around town asking for signatures on petitions starting with, "When in the course of human events..." Doors of several beautiful homes were slammed in my face. Only 1 on my route recognized it. Learned a lot that day.

They probably got absolutely livid when NPR aired Frederick Douglass’ great-great grandchildren reading his 1852 “What, To the Slave, is the Fourth of July” speech again today.

Hey, MAGA types: we all said & say it every school day: “with liberty and justice for ALL.”
