We fixed the issue in our Android app that prevented users from uploading images if notifications weren't enabled. We are submitting the update now, and it should be available within 48 hours.

Hey Chris Bouzy, Spoutible is a refreshing change from Twitter, but the level of engaging interaction, for me, has been a bit disappointing. A lot of my spouts are seeing no engagement. 🥺🥺

Engagement is the key to success here. I spend as much time and maybe more replying to others' posts as I do spouting myself, and I actively respond to most who comment on my own posts. That's how we get to know each other, and you'll find this community full of a lot of really awesome ppl.

I think Spoutible may suffer from there being so much topical concord among users here that there often isn't much to be said.

When one fully concurs, one likes a post, echoes it, &, well, that's the end of it.

We can follow each other! Looks like similar mindsets anyway.

Good advice from everyone here Kevin. It's a "get out amongst them" sort of place

Follow people, echo/re-echo people. I have been pleased with the interactions here unlike twitter where I am ignored.

You follow so few and you've been here since February.

This is the first time I've come across your account and with my time zone I would rarely see spouts from others unless they've been echoed, which yours have not been.

You also need to use the hashtags a bit more like #STEM or #math etc

Same observation here.

And my beef isn't that my own posts get little engagement, but rather that the overwhelming majority of posts I come by have 0-to-few replies.

Even the top posters' threads have paltry amounts of engagement.

You build your experience.

There aren't algorithms to push things to you. Search people to find those you followed on other social media. Use hashtags to search/lede. Follow, ❤️, Echo or Quote to expand your Spoutible world & engagement.

Welcome to #Spoutible . 🙂

You have to participate in posting, echoing, quote spouting, sharing, and following others. Unlike Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc...likes don't drive engagement, participation does. #YouAreTheAlgorithm
