We learned a lot over the past several days, and I promise we will take what we have learned to make Spoutible better. We identified bottlenecks that can be improved, but we also identified ways to improve engagement.

I’m afraid if you don’t get an IOS app soon, you will lose too many people to Threads.

Yeah. Fuck that BS. Folks come here to get away from that negativity. They come here to feel safe. If @cbouzy rolling out an app only after all initial bugs are eradicated makes you a non-adherent, well, bye.

As I said earlier, I’m not leaving, just concerned that many will. My comments have been misinterpreted to suggest that I am impatient and intend to leave. I hope that after all the work that has been done to create this platform that my concern will turn out to be unfounded.

iOS user currency using Spoutible on iPhone via Safari. On mobile, it looks & operates almost exactly like a dedicated iOS app, except I launch Safari & tap a bookmark. I could eliminate a step & launch it just like an app by adding a site bookmark to my home screen. I’m fine waiting for an app. ☕️

I'm an iOS user as well but patiently waiting. I prefer to wait for a solid app over a rushed buggy app. I grabbed an old Android so I could use the app.

Anyone with half a brain would realise that Threads is just a data collection app. Hell, even the EU won't approve it due to significant concerns.

I'm not afraid. This is not something to fear. Having a social media platform that was made especially for the marginalized to have a voice and a safe place without bots and trolls is to be celebrated. What you need to be is patient. iOS will be ready when it's ready.

There are a lot of reasons why so many of us here love Spoutible and are more than willing to wait tor the app. 1) We feel safe here from trolls, bots, and other nefarious types. 2) This community is full of really great ppl who lift up and support each other instead of tear ppl down.

No need to “recruit” others to justify your decision to leave, just leave. I’m staying put. I’m fully behind #Spoutible and #ChristopherBouzy

I have no intention of leaving this platform. Just expressing my concern for Spoutible, knowing how much work has been put into its development.

I’m a long-term iOS user, but I’m not going anywhere, this is the platform that makes sense, and I can wait for the app, working in the browser is pretty good anyway.
