im in a near identical situation (florida trans teen, will be 18 in just months) and it truly is wild.
it seems every month i hear about and read through new bill from our government that is directly threatening to trans people and my HRT.
once i get my A.A. (hopefully by winter 2024) im going to
nine ✡︎ @mailkbox
as a trans teen in florida, i am terrified. constantly. not just for myself, but for my younger siblings that live with me. by florida law they can be taken away by the state for me simply being around them. i cant do that to them, how am i supposed to live like this

i consider myself lucky too, having been prescribed my hrt from a doctor (it's illegal here to get it from a nurse practitioner) and being just barely old enough to be allowed to continue (if i was born just 31 days later, i would've been forced to stop taking it.)

hrt has improved my life and enjoyment of life *significantly*, i do not like to imagine what it would've been to be forced to stop or not be allowed to even start
