one can do all these things & still get cancer, not to mention drop dead of a heart attack. the very best way to avoid cancer is to take advantage of all screenings medically available & have a physical annually; semiannually if doc suggests. yes, many people don’t have access to such medical care/1

similarly, many don’t have access to fresh food supply, safe places to exercise, etc. there’s little one can to not get cancer. it’s not a personal failing. it’s a disease. when my sister, late brother & i hit 40 & our blood pressures skyrocketed. we had mixed health & eating lifestyles, but /2

in our lifestyle changes didn’t affect those numbers at all . we were all on bp meds by age 42. my sister has ms; my brother died of covid while hospitalized for sepsis brought on by an infected gall bladder. not 1 of these were due to personal choices. we’re dying from the moment we’re born. /3
