I am having the worst time sleeping over the past few months. I just cannot stay asleep. It is really negatively affecting my life. Any ideas?

Only thing that works for me is lots of physical activity during the day.

I'll that more than I already have. Even when I am exhausted, I still don't sleep well.

Listen to Huberman podcast on optimizing sleep: bright sunlight in early am, limiting naps to no more than 30 mins, limiting caffeine intake until 6-8 hours before bedtime, limit alcohol before bedtime and some supplements (magnesium, theanine, ashwaghanda, bacopa, dopa mucuna)
