Donald Trump is posting about the Insurrection Act.

Which likely means Donald Trump has been told he’s going to get indicted under the Insurrection Act.

Didn't he post the same thing about the espionage act first? And then delete it and post the same thing changed to insurrection act?

How would that work? I thought the Insurrection Act just gave authorization to President to act to suppress insurrections, etc., and was not a statute to prosecute those responsible for or participating in an insurrection.

A conviction means his political career comes to an abrupt end.

My sisters oldest was 4 when he walked out of his new baby brothers room and announced, "I didn't write on that baby's head!" My sister did a quick check and, of course, found her new baby had some magic marker on his head. I think of this every time trump starts complainijg about something.

If so, this is huge. A conviction under the Insurrection Act is one that could actually bar him from holding office.
