Being anti bigoted is a life long path, you may stumble and trip especially if you are old enough to remember a time where hate was very openly practice and accepted. Things like sexism/racism was a norm even if people tried to down play it. Realize its all a learning process and continue forward.

Yup. I did some of the dumbest sh*t in HS and beyond thinking I was doing good. Nope. Being told you’re an asshole is no fun; but it’s an important lesson to learn. Especially when it’s your friends telling you that you’re asshole. I hope I always have friends like that.

Exactly. Denial is useless. When you do stumble, it is critical to catch yourself and examine why, then avoid that obstacle in the future. If not, you trip in the same obstacle every time.
