My lifting books are dear to my heart. As I was updating my workout for today, I decided to flip back and take a look at what I was doing before my baby hiatus.
I found a plateau for bench, a dramatic progression for squats and that I was 5lbs away from deadlifting 300#.
I'm nowhere near there today

It's humbling but also a great reminder that this is a process. I'm a different person today-and I'm coming at this with a better attitude.
My coach calls the lifting book the book of truth, and the change is right there.
Today I'm a person that understands how their body works. That's progress too
