Uvalde is a small town.
Edmond is a small town.
Blacksburg is a small town.
Sandy Hook is a small town.
Sutherland Springs is a small town.

And in those towns, real bad guys showed up, and no good guys magically took them down.

Yes… they “tried that in a small town”
And succeeded.

It is so true. But I go to Sandy Hook enough to get the flavor of the very good people that live there. If you ever get a chance to stop at the Blue Colony Diner off I-84 in Sandy Hook, you will meet the real people who make up that resilient town.

That song and video are so threatening. It’s disconcerting.

Sadly, it's intended to be. The song is intended as a (very lightly-veiled) threat.

How many of those “bad guys” were black? That’s what Aldean was talking about. Yeah, he never explicitly mentioned race but how many of us assumed it when we read/heard the lyrics? Almost all of us.

Moreover, in Uvalde, the good guys stayed away.
