Excellent! Mr. Myron, you don’t play. Come through! 👇🏽

“It is dissonance on a national racial scale and it has kept Americans ignorant about its history.”— Say that!

You ain’t never lied. I once had to gather a “teacher” ALL the way together b/c she tried to spit this foolishness to my kiddo.

I think at one point or another, most Black/POC parents have done the same thing.

It’s sad b/c there are parents that may not know or think it’s harmless. My kid had kindergarten homework, during Black History Month, where kids had to color a picture of George Washington, on a plantation 😡, surrounded by people wearing tattered clothing 🤬. Returned it 📄 w/ a pic of Obama.

Just plain ugly. Mine had a chapter on the Klan that mentioned everyone the klan was against... Jewish, catholic, gay folk... and then way at the end..

"And also, blacks" (yes, small b and with the s).

As terrifying as this can be, the satisfying part is that these babies know. They know the truth. The history that some are trying to hide is “rhyming” and they see the correlation to the past. There’s hope.

Teacher: “So slavery and indentured servitude wasn’t so….”
