If you don't like Windows 11, there are alternatives. If you're feeling spontaneous; give Linux MInt, Pop!_OS, or Elementary a Try. These can be installed to a USB flash drive to test them.

I was just looking into Linux Mint the day before yesterday. I'm considering switching over but worry about compatibility with the programs I like. I should get a usb drive big enough and give it a try. I'm gonna have to learn new stuff, I guess

Keep in mind, there are some caveats with testing to a USB Drive. The Bing one is that they don't save your data by default. Although you could install to your computer's hdd when ready. Office 365 should work without issue if needed, but yes, there can be a learning curve.
