Spoutible supports the LGBTQ+ community, and several transgender accounts have spouted pictures documenting their transition process without issue. That has nothing to do with porn.

Chris, people who want to use this platform to promote sex work are going to keep pushing the boundaries. They'll try to shave nuance in there, believing they can wear you down until you revise the policy. Please don't do that.

Say what you mean, and mean what you say.

I’m trying to find out what is going on and am clueless. Why are some stating they don’t feel welcomed here? What does it have to do with porn? Can you help?

People who have experienced trauma (most of us, that is, though varying forms, frequencies, and severities) can learn to present strawman arguments when feeling stressed and lacking a model for asking for help--partly due to anticipating pushback if not an abusive response.

Go to @cbouzy and see everything he posted today. Eventually, this will all make sense to you.

I experience this as a safe place for people with many different interests to be themselves and express their thoughts and feelings about a variety of subjects. There's no excluding going on.

I’ve been able to fill myself in by reading Chris’s profile. Thanks for responding. I agree with you. I feel this is one of the most inclusive social media sites around. The decision not to allow adult content of a certain type is strictly a business decision and not meant to marginalize anyone.

I posed that question to a sex worker earlier today. She was complaining about feeling discriminated against on Spoutible. I pointed out that she was posting here and asked if she wanted to advertise her work. She didn't answer the question. I agree with you - that has to be the core issue.
