Your incomes depends on his site that he gave free access to? Do you hear how you sound? You can pay for a marketing space.

Sigh, it is everyone's best interest to have a well defined ToS. Sadly, no one will believe it until something harmful happens.

This is a site he created & you’re coming on here & telling him to rewrite his rules to make others happy? He wrote the rules for his site. If someone wants to post porn that’s totally cool they can make an onlyfans account & make money

Reread what you posted. Rewrite not for clarity. But rewrite in favor of what you want. Seriously?
You don't have to be here.

He should keep doing what he’s doing and ignore distractions like this. Endlessly negotiating these terms will kill the site more quickly than anything else possibly could.

“Sexual content and nudity” Why the hell would anyone want to partake on that sort of thing on Spoutible?

Of course, some people need to make a living doing sex work. Thing is, it's not @cbouzy responsibility to provide them with a platform.

I’m sure she’s more than welcome to start her own website if she or anyone else doesn’t like the policies here. He started this site with no advertisers or financial backing from anyone and offered it for free without any fees. People have the audacity to complain when their wants are not catered to

IDK where you live, but "town squares" usually do NOT allow people to run around in the buff.
The decision was made to NOT allow it and I'm good with that - if I wanted to see porn I'd sign up to pornhub or onlyfans.
And if people need to make money with porn then they too can go to those sites!

Really? Can you nail up sexually explicit posters in your town's downtown area? I can't.

If people need to make money by posting adult content on the internet, there are plenty of websites for that. Spoutible is not one of them, nor is it under any obligation to become one.

I don't know why this is even remotely a difficult concept.

Exactly Reddit has curated niche NSFW topics for those that want to browse. I don’t think having a space where adult conversations can occur but imagery is limited is infringing on anything. Not to mention all the financial reasons mentioned. This whole ordeal feels contrived

You seem to be saying that the Spoutible community somehow owes a small subset of workers a set of platform rules that will allow them to make money when those new rules might also limit future monetizing opportunities for both Spoutible & *other* Spoutible users. Not particularly logical, IMO.

This is not a commercial market place its not obliged to provide space to sell anything, nothing stopping people talking about their sexuality but porn & explicit nudity is not welcome and that is ok for a social media platform

If being a sex worker is someone soul means of income, there are websites for that. Chris's response was very clear, not really sure why this conversation keeps going around in circles.

I don't think @cbouzy is obligated to create opportunities for other people to create income streams. If people want or need that there are multiple other websites for them to promote their offerings.

They have Twitter, Mastodon, Facebook, PornHub, XTube, etc. Spoutible doesn't look like it's gonna cater to sex workers any time soon. But I somehow doubt it's going to cut into their bottom line.

Nope. One of the reasons I'm here is because I run zero risk of seeing nudity. There are plenty of other platforms avail.
