A thought about letting news video into the courtrooms for trump's trials: The pretend "oopsie" of pretend journalists getting jurors on videotape. Jurors who will then be identified, harassed, threatened, and quite possibly harmed or murdered.

Edit: Sounds like the pool camera prevents problems 👍

I don't watch court tv programs (except fictional shows). imo court proceedings shouldn't be offered as ad-sponsored entertainment

I don't watch trump now. I wouldn't watch his trials because they *should* be boring AF slogs to justice. Any titillating bits would be defense antics. Fuck their shit.

A single pool camera feed, monitored/controlled by the court on ten second delay, eliminates the possibility of chaos agents “accidentally” identifying jurors or wandering outside the selected image of judge, court officials, prosecutors and criminal defendant tRump & lawyers . #TrumpTrial

If they allow broadcasting it is generally a single pool camera that does not turn to ever reveal the jurors. Not as good but many J6 trials had reporters in overflow ct.room viewing closed cir. and tweeting. prob. need to be legit journalist to get in to either room.

I assume it would be like cspan. 1 camera, pointed at judge & witness stand. No other cameras allowed in.

One would hope. The RW will bleat about it being unfair anyway.

I would hope for three. One more each on the prosecution and defense tables. Without seeing Jack Smith being calm and collected and Trump about to pop an artery when the half of his maladministration who don't want to see the inside of a prison testify against him it wouldn't be near as much fun.
