I don't get the argument saying not allowing LGBTQ+ people to post explicit photos or links to explicit sites is erasing us. Im gay. Im all for porn. I have explicit conversations. Saying I can't have those things on Spoutible doesn't erase me though. Im more than sex as a gay person.

You're missing a lot of nuance here. People don't want to post porn on here. People want to be able to link to their work (which may be sexy) without being explicit here on Spoutible. And there is too much room for interpretation in the TOS to be inequitably applied to non-explicit content.

Thank you. That’s the first explanation I’ve heard, but I don’t understand how that’s solely an LGBTQ thing. Why is it being framed as an LGBTQ thing or is someone framing LGBTQ? Asking as an ally.

I'm not sure how it originally became about LGBTQ issues on here, but every other social platform regularly misinterprets LGBTQIA content as "sexual" when it's not, and queer and/or disabled people are disproportionately represented among sex workers. Sex workers deserve a platform safe from hate.
