@bron1us I agree. That's a wasted truffle! This is the fresh #truffle I bought from the #truffiere @noblerot and I placed it in a jar of arborio (which I had brought with me) so the rice would absorb the smell. The jar sans trouffe still smells truffly!

Nice! That's a great idea. Have you eaten (some of) the #truffle yet? Or did you get a sample from the #truffiere ?

Yes, both from the #truffiere and at home! I'll post my photos later this week.

The truffle I bought developed that more pungent smell. The fresh truffle was nice, earthy. But I think the longer the truffle is out of the ground, the stronger the smells of rottenness comes out.
