what the heck do you do with kohlrabi? there's a bunch of it in my fresh food bag the roots and the tops. I don't think I've ever eaten this veg in my life!

I grew up with it as my Mom was a master gardener. Trim off the outer skin and then you either eat it by itself sliced or chopped into matchsticks for a salad. It should have some sweetness to it and adds some crunch to salad.
