Democrats won the 3rd NH House special election in a row. Expected win, but it was a blowout, 34 point victory. We do have the enthusiasm & momentum.

2 more specials scheduled this fall; win those and we'll have a tied Statehouse & can at least prevent any more of Sununu's fuckery.

Only 690;votes total? These are tiny elections even for a special election.

In NH we have 400 House members – I believe it's the 2nd largest legislature in the world after the U.S. Congress (which is quite silly, really). So turnout probably wasn't great, but each district is quite small.

Very nice. I have been wondering how the COVID migrations would effect state politics. Looks like I'm starting to get my answer.

🤞I hope so! Awhile back we seemed to be getting more and more Democratic with migration from MA, but in more recent years it felt like that flipped as Libertarian types fled higher tax (and more equitable) states...but maybe Covid reversed that. 🙏
