We’re off to the Oncologist in the morning - hubs is having an ‘I’m done with chemo, it costs too much’ moment. Luckily we have a good team; their job tomorrow is to reassure him that he’s doing better with it, and it’s necessary. Maybe there’s an option that’s less than $13k/mo.

Hubs’ rare cancer (neoendocrine) treatment is only available at the hospital, not at a pharmacy. It’s Sandostatin, an injection. The alternative, Lanreotide, isn’t covered by Aetna Advantage at all.

I sure ❤️❤️ you all for trying to help, tho - it means the world!

❤️ All the best. I thought I was hemorrhaging money on a month of physical therapy. This helps me keep things in perspective. I wish we had single payer health-care here. I hope he feels like continuing his treatments. It is alarming how expensive cancer can be. Much love and strength to you!
